| .:: Dedications: Noah's Ark ::. |

A few summers ago, Pastor Ernie met Greg and Cindy Allen at the Strawberry Festival in June in Crawfordsville, Indiana. They were selling small Noah Ark coin banks. He bought one and asked them if they could make a large one for Mt. Zion UMC's Children's Offering, which is taken up every fourth Sunday of the month. They said that they could do that for free. Pastor Ernie consulted with Mary Sell about the idea of having a Noah's Ark to be a receptacle for the Children's Offering with idea that the Noah's Ark is a symbol shelter and hope. Mary agreed that it would be great to have one. Pastor Ernie contacted them back, and they built one for us. Greg and Cindy came this fall for one of the services where they were shown appreciation by the congregation by giving an offering to support their ministry of getting people in countries around the world Bibles.
We dedicate this Noah Ark to be the receptacle for the Children's Mission Offering that goes to support the missions they have chosen. To read more about what the children have chosen for their yearly missions, please check out the Missions page.
